The inspiration for this was a cat up a tree having a lazy time .

Full description
Cat has been made from calico, painted black then sanded and given a coffee and cinnamon wash for a primitive vintage look. His features have been embroidered and has linen thread whiskers . The leaves have been handstitched and lightly padded. The flower is a Suffolk puff with a mother of pearl button. The hanger is rusty wire wrapped around a chunky twig - which I found in the woods whilst walking the dog but had to hide it otherwise it would have had a few teeth marks on it or worse !
The design is 37cms wide and is about 20 cms from the tail to the top of the hanger.
