Full description
These earrings are made using sea glass collected locally in the Scottish Highlands. Each earring features a small green piece of sea glass, suspended from a textured piece of copper, on a handmade recycled sterling silver hook. They measure just under 6cm from the top of the hook, and have a 'dangle length' (from the bottom of the hook) of approximately 4.3cm.
The silver and copper components of these earrings have been oxidised using liver of sulphur. Renaissance Wax has been used to seal the patina on the copper, which will preserve the finish and prevent the copper from turning green over time. To keep the finish looking its best, it's recommended to remove the earrings before showering or swimming etc.
All my jewellery packaging is biodegradable.
