Until recently I had not tried turning Zebrano (Zebra wood), however I was really surprised how striking the stripes in the wood were, giving the wood its name. I think it works well in contrast to some of the lighter and less patterned wood trees I have turned.

Here we have an 11cm tall had turned Christmas tree decoration made from striking Zebrano wood and finished with a local beeswax polish to really highlight the grain.
