Full description
This handmade fused glass trinket dish fusing two layers of opaline glass to form the base. Hand-cut templates were used to create the part of each flower by sifting glass powders onto a kiln shelve through the templates and firing. This gave fragile, delicate wafers of glass. Next, the different sections of the flowers were again fired together to make a complete flower. These were tack-fused with a sprinkling of iridescent frit to give each piece a 3D look onto the base. the finished piece is 10.5cm x 10.5cm x 2cm.
