Solid silver cotton reel pin brooch.
I wonder why I had not created a bit of lapel love in cotton reel form before...
Perfect for the sewing enthusiast it makes a beautiful adornment to a blouse, lapel, button hole, scarf.... for the non sewing enthusiast - same same but an interesting eye-catching object giving a je ne sais quoi loveliness.
Completely handmade in my studio in York from sterling silver and fully hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office. And the hallmarking looks beautiful, deep lasered in a unique curve reflecting the labelling found on old reels.
It arrives on a beautiful card, I use print from a vintage embroidery thread box and packaged in one of my branded boxes, with all the trimmings.
