Full description
A slim book bound in dark cherry red Japanese silk book cloth. It is hand stitched in white linen thread using the type of binding known as Criss-Cross binding, which was formerly known as Secret Belgian Binding. This style of binding enables the book to be opened wide and for the leaves to lie flat, which means that it appeals particularly to people who want to draw and sketch. The inside cover has a pretty foxglove design (this was painted by my sister) and the front page has a distinctive sketch of a model (also painted by my sister. The following pages are good quality plain white paper. It measures 11 x 21 cm.
