Full description
This book is bound with Coptic stitching and French link stitch; these are 'exposed spine' stitching styles that allow the book to open wide and the pages to lie flat. This style is particularly favoured by artists as it facilitates drawing and sketching. It is filled with pages of Bockingford watercolour paper (300gsm acid free) in four different tints. The book has blue book cloth edging and is covered in paper that I marbled and I also used marbled paper for the endpapers. The inside of the covers is backed with cyanotype prints that I made a couple of weeks ago. This unusual and attractive book is roughly A5 size, measuring around 15 x 21 x 2cm.
