Full description
PICTURE FRAME - 4 x 6in Photograph in a Black or White Coloured frame overall size 180 x 130mm with a Polycarbonate front. There is a Strut on rear so that it can sit on the window sill or desk.
PHOTOGRAPH - I took this photograph at a West Sussex classic car event July 2022
HISTORY - The Daimler SP250 was produced from 1959 to 1964; it was originally going to be called the Dart but Chrysler already had that name registered and threatened Daimler with legal action so it was known as the SP250 which was its internal project number.
The car had a 2500cc V8 engine which produced 140bhp, disc brakes all round and a fibreglass body which gave it impressive performance for the time. So much so that the Police purchased 30 vehicles to use on the newly opened M1 motorway.
