Full description
Star is only 4" tall with thread jointed limbs and head so she is able to move around to decorate her tree. She is made from a lovely soft material with a fur like pile authentic to her size and has felt paw pads and ears, beautiful black Onyx eyes stitched in to sculpt her face and embroidered nose and claws.
The Christmas tree is an actual pine cone which has been mounted onto a branch section. I have carefully hand drilled holes into each tree 'branch' and threaded and knotted the many beads and bits of jewellery that the mice have found left in the woods and there is a little crocheted silver star on the top.
As well as decorations there are lights which are tiny seed led and are battery powered.I have hidden the battery pack in the back of the floor piece. The floor is a hand made wooden platform which I have painted to resemble rustic floor boards and there is also a wool felt rug for a little bit of front room cosiness. This floor measures 5" x 4".
To be able to reach Star needed an empty thread reel which is actually plastic but I have painted to resemble wood for authenticity. She can also sit back on this to admire her work and enjoy the lights.
Please note this is a collector's item and not suitable as a toy for young children although I'm sure they would love to have a look under supervision.
