Hooray, you found my shop! Welcome! Do have a browse and see whether you can find your dream spoon... or spreader, tongs, fork, or windchime...
I hope my eclectic selection of wording makes you smile!
I also take commissions so if you don't see exactly what you would personally want on a spoon, drop me a message or order one of my personalised options. Go on, you know you want to...
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A handstamped vintage silver plated jam or preserve spoon with the plaintive message 'HELP, I'M IN A JAM!' in block lettering in the bowl. It's a shallow pointed spoon measuring approximately 12.5cm long and has little scalloped cut-outs at the base of the bowl (to allow syrup from preserves to drain away). The handle is ornately decorated with embossed scrollwork and flowers.
This would make a fun little gift especially if you presented it along with a jar of jam!
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon that has been used, loved and polished, so it does have a few hairline scratches and wear marks. Also I mis-hit the 'H' right at the beginning so this is in the bargain bin for a fiver - I hope someone will love it despite its imperfection!
