Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. About this Heron greetings card, titled "Heron at Fisher's Pond":
I created the drawing featured on this card, using chalk pastels and coloured pencils on toned paper.
I came across this patient heron (engaged in fishing) by a pond in Bushy Park, Teddington.
With an impressionist's approach, my aim was to capture the light and the atmosphere of the peaceful and ethereal scene.
The inside of the Heron art card is left blank for your own message, so it is suitable for any occasion.
Printed on lovely, sturdy 425 micron Ensocoat Greeting cardboard, the image is set in a white border.
148mm x 148mm.
Each individual square card and envelope is enclosed in a clear cello sleeve.
