Full description
This lovely embroidery has a hand embroidered design of Achillea (Yarrow) and grasses stitched over a photograph taken by myself of the beautiful Roseland coastal path near Porthcurnick Beach, Cornwall. The photograph has been printed onto cotton fabric and the embroidered design hand stitched to give depth. The wild flowers and grasses represent those seen on this coastal path and have been used to enhance and frame the view of the coast line. The rocks have been enhanced with some shadowing in embroidery.
The embroidery is framed in a black frame with plastic rather than glass to avoid breakages on postage. The frame measures approximately 46cms x 36cms. The embroidery measures 26cms x 17cms. This is one of a kind.
