Our shop is now closed for 2024 and we wish you a very happy Christmas. We are grateful for every order received this year and look forward to 2025. The sewing machine needs a service and we need a break, so we’ll see you soon.
Thanks for visiting our shop. You will find a variety of household items and gifts here, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.

Because I hate throwing away even scraps of Christmas material, I needed to find something useful to make that used up little pieces.

I love Christmassy fabric and try to use up every scrap of it. There are always bits and pieces left over from making crowns and crackers and I have put these to good use making these coasters. Each one is made from a selection of Christmas fabrics, joined together in a hexagon design and then backed with another fabric. They are then top-stitched in place with contrasting stitching.
Our coasters measure approximately 9cm in diameter and, as they are made from layers of fabric, will do a good job of protecting your furniture and absorbing wetness from drippy-bottomed mugs. After Christmas, give them a wash with your usual laundry and then put them away ready for next year.
It's the little things that help to make our homes look cosy and festive and scattering these coasters around will help your guests know where to stand their drinks, whilst adding that extra festive touch.
This set of four has a patchwork of fabrics on one side and on the other are red stars, green stars, dachunds and a nativity scene. You will receive the ones in the photographs. Orders will be sent using standard second class post unless you choose otherwise.
