Badger hoop art
Beautiful badger hoop art framed in an 8" embroidery hoop.
A unique piece of hoop art featuring a handsome badger. The badger has been painted onto white cotton using fabric paints and inks. Sewn onto dark grey fabric with lots of added detail and embellishments. Wool and thread embroidery, a piece of crochet doillie and a selection of beads. Dotted with silver metallic paint to create a starry sky.
The badger is made from fabric scraps, the woollen threads and doillie are charity shop finds as it is important to me to decrease the amount of waste in my artwork as much as possible. The hoop is British made.
Backed with wadding and felt, hoop art can be hung on the wall (a ribbon is attached for hanging) it looks equally at home propped against the wall on a surface.
