Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. About this Deer Art print - "Into the Forest":
I used chalk pastels and coloured pencils on toned paper to create this drawing of a deer leaping through the forest.
Keeping an impressionist perspective in mind, I aimed to capture the atmosphere and movement of a stag running through the forest, using many tones of green and purple to capture the shadowy forest and dappled light on the leaves.
There is a 3D quality to this print - the deer looks almost about to leap out of the picture! There is also a lovely lightness and looseness to this piece and it would make a unique and beautiful seasonal gift.
This is a gorgeous quality Fine Art professional inkjet Giclee Art Print on Hahnemuhle Photorag 308 gsm paper.
Signed, titled and numbered, the paper size is 420 x 297mm.
Because of the way the image is sent on the print, you have the option of using a square or rectangular frame for this piece.
The print can be personalised - I can add "To...(person's name)" - please just let me know!
