My favourite part of Christmas is 'Bringing in the Green'. The tree is the focal point and key to all traditional celebrations. Dressing the tree and enjoying the smells of wooded pine always makes me feel Christmas has started.
I really enjoyed making this cushion. It would make a jolly feature in any room and be an unusual gift.

Full description
This cushion features a wonderful, traditional Christmas Tree appliqued on a vibrant red background fabric. The tree is constructed from various patterned green fabrics with cream and gold fabric, mimicking swags of tinsel. Red and green buttons have been added to represent baubles and there is a golden yellow star right at the top.
The background fabric has been free motion quilted to add texture and accentuate the design, this also gives the cushion a luxurious feel. The edges are embellished with a fun pompom fringe.
There is a concealed zip and the cushion comes complete with a cushion inner pad. It measures 38cm x 38cm.
