This is one of my favourite pieces. I really tried to capture the shape of the fox when it jumps and this in turn gave me the idea of drawing the moon underneath. Inspired by the nursery rhyme line - "and the cow jumped over the moon"

"And the Fox Jumped Over the Moon"
Created using black fine liner ink and metallic watercolour over Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils. This design is a play on the nursery rhyme line -"and the cow jumped over the moon" The moon has been drawn using hundreds of tiny dots of ink to add a wonderful texture and the overall peace has a dreamy, whimsical feel.
The metallic watercolour adds a little something extra - at certain angles the paint gives off a stunning purple and green shimmery colour which I really love.
The drawing measures 11.7cm wide and 16.3cm long. With the cardboard frame and mount included this measures around 17.7cm wide x 22.8cm long (9x7 inches).
It is fastened to the cardboard frame with washi tape and the back of the picture is signed and dated.
Ready to be framed, this picture will make a beautiful addition to any room in your home and also make a perfect gift for a friend or loved one
The picture will be sent with corner protectors and in a glassine bag with cardboard packaging to ensure its safe arrival. All orders will be sent via Royal Mail 24.
