A very decorative way of making a pincushion from a kit by Bobbinpatch. They have a variety to choose from.

For a stitcher who loves honey or even keeps bees ( how many do, I wonder ? ) this novelty pincushion is a useful and decorative addition to their craft or sewing room. In the shape of a bee-hive or skep it’s decorated with a felt door, with flowers and leaves around and won’t be easily lost as it is atop a wooden bobbin and stands 8 “ tall. The extra special decorations are 5 busy bees with gossamer wings and 3 orange-eyed daisies made from felt. These cover the heads of quilting pins and can be re-arranged ( or played with ).
