This scarf was made using some of the cones of fine knitting machine wool I have in my, er, 'stash'!! It is a very fine weave. I have taken one photo of it with both ends splayed out to show how fine it is and if you zoom in you can see the red top through the fabric. This would be more about wearing the colours than keeping warm although it will provide a little warmth of course.
