Hi all, I have been absorbed in the wool crafts all my life. My Mum taught me to knit at the age of five and a lovely lady taught me to crochet at the age of eight. At fifteen when I was in the Rangers I was shown how to do tatting and fell in love with lace making. Since then I have learnt so many crafts through the use of books, Google and of course You Tube (where would most of us be today without it?!) Nowadays I work with my son, Jimmy creating on my loom. His colour coordination and patterns are an inspiration and have pulled me out of my traditional corner. (You should see the t-shirts he creates) Now we are hoping to set up on Folksy and eventually make a living from our mutual talents. I have been told for years "You should be selling these." as have many others of course. Good luck everyone; I can't wait to explore Folksy myself and find the top quality supplies that are no doubt available and to weave some amazing scarves for you all.
