Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

This vibrant, textile artwork would add a pop of colour to your home or make a lovely gift for a bird lover.
I've used a section of upholstery fabric in shades of deep red, orange and russet for the background. The blackbird and the branch he's perching on have been created with different fabrics, including batik and I've added details and texture with embroidery threads.
The picture comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurements 8 x 8 inches. Visible area 5.5 x 5.5 inches.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
The artwork will be sent Royal Mail, second class large letter.
