A hand knitted tweed stitch tea pot cosie using rich Christmas bauble colours of slate blue, gold and christmas tree green with an oversized pompom on top. Starting at the hem I have knitted the rib in slate blue. Then using three different coloured yarns; christmas tree green, slate blue and gold, I have knitted a wonderful tweed stitch tea cosie body. Adding an oversized pompom, nestled on the top, in the same three colours and glitter gold lurex yarn, gives extra sparkle to this classic Christmas tea cosy. This stitch ensures a good fit around the pot, yet has enough ease for a swift removal when a 'top - up' is required. The tea pot handle peeps through the side opening so it dosnt get too hot to handle. A perfect house warming gift, or for yourself...... just because it looks pretty on the kitchen work top at Christmas
Suitable for a standard 4 - 6 cup tea pot.
