Full description

A vintage fruit pattern embossed 'berry' spoon that I've handstamped around the edge:

PLENTY AND GRACE

BE TO THIS PLACE

and because I couldn't resist it I then added:

NOW FILL YOUR FACE

The spoon is silver-plated and measures approx. 22cm long - a nice size for serving dessert. It would make a fun little gift for a housewarming, wedding or anniversary.

The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand.

You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. Please note that it is a vintage or indeed an antique item, I would guess Victorian, so it has quite a lot of wear to the raised parts of the design, there is some residual tarnish and there are considerable scuffs and wear marks, particularly on the back of the handle. This may not bother you but I think it's worth pointing out at this stage so that you (or whoever you give this to) won't be disappointed. This is a spoon with heaps of vintage character, rather than a mirror-finished brand-new-looking one.

You'll find more big spoons in the 'Dessert and Serving Spoons' collection in my shop and of course I'm always happy to take commissions, just ask.
