I enjoy painting street scenes, capturing people going about their life against the backdrop of architectural history. How many people have walked this street and how many stories lay buried beneath the bricks and mortar.
The uphill winding cobbled road of the Old High Street also creates some interesting perspective with the colourful buildings adding to its endearing character.

Original Watercolour Painting of the old cobbled street in Folkestone known as the Creative Quarter.
Painted on 300gsm watercolour paper with colour fast watercolour paints, size 35.5 x 50.8cm. Can be easily trimmed to fit a 35 x 50cm frame.
This painting is sold as is, unframed and without a mount. I have included a photo of the painting framed for reference.
