I designed a swift motif to adorn the frailing scoop of my banjo; they are my favourite of the hirundines (swifts, swallows and martins). I translated them into a design suitable for my jewellery. I love the clean lines and the elegant simplicity that still manages to convey the sense of movement.

Acid etched copper pendant necklace with Swirling Swifts design.
Pendant size 1 1/4" diameter
Indian leather 2mm round necklace - 25cm drop
Silver plated lobster-claw fastening clip
All pieces are lovingly and individually handmade; pendants are hand-cut and designs are individually scribed freehand before being acid etched and patinated - as such there may be slight differences from the listing photograph.
