Lore
In the golden light of dusk, the wolves gather howling at the peasants’ doors. Rounding up the work-weary farmers, the wolves drive them into the perilous dark of the wild, vengeful forest. Armed with only their simple farming implements, the peasants are forced to clear the malevolent forest, one tree at a time. The wolves wait at the edge of the woods, tearing apart any that refuse to meet their fate in the woods. All around her, friends and family disappear with a shriek or run to perish in the snapping jaws that prevent their escape. Mad with fear, she turns her woodsman axe against her oppressors.
