Full description
A hand stamped vintage silver-plated dessert spoon with the words 'live honestly, eat slowly, lie about your age' in the bowl. It's approximately 18cm long and has a classic 'fiddle pattern' handle. And yes, it's starting to show its age, there are spots and marks and scratches and it's worn at the end and has lost most if not all of its originsal plating, so it seemed an appropriate vehicle for this particular piece of sage advice for growing older (attributed to Lucille Ball). Give it to someone you know who's having a 'significant' birthday... then duck and run...
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Hand washing recommended.
