I love Jacobesn crewel work.
This was a period in English and Scottish history that coincides with the reign of James 1st of England, James 6th of Scotland. 1603-1625.
Strongly influenced by exotic flora and fauna. The Jacobean era embraced a style of embroidery and crewel design.
