Full description

Use this little book to keep your needles neat and close at hand. I have made the cover using a beautiful William Morris print called Sweet Briar. It has a cream background with a print of terracotta roses entwined around thorny stems with green leaves. I backed this fabric with iron-on fleece and then sewed three rows of wave stitch across front and back. I machine embroidered the word "Needles" in green thread onto a patch of linen and appliquéd this to the front.

The lining is a coffee and white spotted quilting cotton.

Inside has two leaves of white felt to hold needles and the book can be fastened closed with a loop of black cord around a green button. Measures approx 9cm x 12cm when closed.

This item is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
