Custom pieces are made to order. While listings state up to 7 days to dispatch, custom orders may currently take a little longer due to colder temperatures and increased curing times. I will always keep you updated if this affects your order.
Ready-made items are usually dispatched within two working days. All orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48 so you can follow your order’s progress.
Please note that screen colours can vary slightly. Handmade mineral pieces are best kept out of strong direct sunlight to help preserve their colour over time.

This glossy black plant pot was inspired by the simplicity of monochrome interiors and the power of contrast. I wanted to explore a deep, reflective black finish that feels bold and confident, allowing the green of a plant to stand out even more vividly.
The smooth, curved form keeps the shape understated, while the high-gloss surface gives it a slightly dramatic edge. It is a modern, statement piece designed to feel strong, clean and striking without unnecessary detail.
This was a brief exploration into hand-painted finishes before I moved back to pigment-through designs, making this a unique moment in my creative journey.

Full description
Large glossy black round plant pot for indoor houseplants, succulents and herbs. This bold, high contrast planter adds a sleek modern statement to shelves, desks or side tables and makes a lovely gift for plant lovers who appreciate striking handmade home decor.
The pot is handmade from a water-based mineral material with a smooth, stone-like feel. The deep black finish has been carefully hand-painted, creating a rich, glossy surface that enhances its clean, contemporary look. The exterior has been hand-finished through multiple stages and sealed for durability, while the interior is sealed with varnish to add extra protection. Subtle air bubbles or slight variations are part of the handmade process and make each pot unique. Cork pads are attached to the base to help protect surfaces.
Perfectly imperfect detail:
This pot is included in my Perfectly Imperfect event because I will not be creating any more hand-painted plant pots in this finish. It is structurally sound and fully functional, but this glossy painted style is being discontinued as I focus on my marbled and pigment-through designs. Once sold, it will not be repeated.
This pot does not have a drainage hole and is intended for indoor use with a plastic nursery pot.
