Only a couple of days left to order for Valentine’s Day… time to order that special gift and say it with spoons rather than flowers! Or as well as flowers. And chocolate. And perhaps a bottle of something sparkly at a romantic restaurant.
And yes! Personalised spoons are back on the menu! In limited quantities as I still have a few issues with my hammering arm...
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A hand stamped vintage silver plated soup spoon with the words 'THE DARK SIDE OF THE SPOON' in small sans serif block lettering along the inside of one edge of the bowl. It's a plain 'old english' style spoon measuring approximately 17.5cm long.
You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is stamped with vintage steel dies and coloured with a non-toxic and water-based ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon (I think it's 1920s to 1930s) so it does have tarnish, hairline scratches and wear marks that make it look a bit battered, although these don't affect its functionality as a spoon. I have reduced the price to a fiver and put it in the bargain bin anyway. But please do have a good look at the photos because I don't want you to be disappointed!
