Mermaid made in beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
Here is a fun mermaid made out of beautiful turquoise stained glass who won't swim away and disappear under the sea.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together with a generous bead of solder. The tail and fin have been made from turquoise corella glass and the body from clear irredised textured glass.
I have used tinned wire which has been coiled and beads soldered in place to create the hair - you could say she is having a bad hair-day. A small ring has been attached for hanging purposes.
This measures 7 cms x 20 cms excluding the hair.
I will supply a good quality window hook for hanging your suncatcher in the window, Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
I normally post the following working day, and this will be sent using Royal Mail tracked 24.
