It always starts with the fabric and I was lucky to be gifted some cream damask and then I spotted a skirt in a second hand shop in burgandys and cream and then I remembered I had some silk in exactly the same colours.......... I had never made a komebukuro before and that was a challenge but I enjoyed the process.

Full description
This traditional Japanese rice bag is made from repurposed fabric, decorated with slow stitching and fully reversible. It is quilted, padded with organic cotton wadding and has a cotton tape closure. Its great for projects, hair stuff, toiletries and loads of other things as it is roomy and squidgy.
