Are you familiar with Enid Collins of Texas’ fabulous handbags ?
If not treat yourself to a Google ….
I have taken inspiration from her famous tote bags and recreated miniature versions for any fashion conscious doll such as Blythe, Sindy, Barbie etc etc.
I took the dimensions of an original Enid Collins tote bag scaled them down and slightly simplified the designs so they work in miniature.
This peacock bag is approximately 4cm tall ( including the handles 6.5cm )
and measures 5cm wide across the base of the bag.
The body of the bag is made from calico.
The base is made from wood, the trim and handles are made from leather just like the originals.
I have hand painted the peacock with acrylic paint and then embellished it with tiny jewels, the key signature for Enid Collins of Texas bags.
A super sparkly accessory for any fashion doll.
A great gift for an Enid Collins collector or lover of all things miniature.
I will send 2nd class Royal Mail in a letter box parcel.
