I've always loved the stories of fairies and changelings and am fascinated by the idea that perhaps they're among us, singing their songs and weaving their magic in the woodlands we visit. Some of my happiest times have been spent among trees, and this teensy toadstool is a way of keeping some woodland magic present even in the most urban of places.

This jolly little Toadstool brooch is a playful accessory to your everyday wardrobe.
Soft felt and a colourful cotton fabric are stitched together using both machine embroidery and hand stitching techniques to make this sweet little toadstool to adorn your outfit. A foundling button from my button jar is added, and the brooch back on the reverse has been thoroughly stitched to keep it securely fixed.
Pin it to your jacket, your bag or even your hat to conjure a little woodland magic into your day.
