I often use recycled packaging for posting to reduce my impact on the environment.
I love the drama of the sea, the excitement of waves clashing, exploding with foam, reaching for the sky. I feel that adding the three dimensional elements of fabric to a painted background reinforces the energy generated by the sea.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Stormy Weather was inspired by my trips to the coast and way the waves clash against each other, spray reaching for the sky.
I have used painted fabric and found objects in this work. The stormy sky is acrylic paint and I have painted the fabric and creased it to convey a sense of movement and depth. Added small pieces of plastic tube hold the spray.
Every piece of art I make is unique and produced by hand, often reflecting the seasons.
Double mounted and framed in a grey frame to enhance the textures and depth.

Everything I make is inspired by nature, and the result maybe abstract or literal. I don't repeat work to maintain a style, I feel it's more important to let the inspiration dictate the direction each piece takes. I work with clay, fabric and thread, and found objects from the countryside and seashore.
Your purchase will be beautifully wrapped, and where possible, I use recycled packaging for the outer packing. Please advise if your purchase is a directly delivered gift and I will ensure the outer packing is new.
