Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Diamond design comprised of 12 triangles, 6 different types and colours of glass and with a sparly chandelier teardrop crystal dangling beneath from a silvery chain.
A new design for 2024 and I am super pleased with it.
The diamond is 17cm x 9cm, 25 cm tal with the crystal but excluding the hanging chain.
I have cut the individual pieces from Sky Blue and Teal shades of glass, always a favourite combination of mine, using a mixture of different textures and types of glass for the 12 triangles which form the diamond.
The outer edge is framed with twisted wire for strength and neatness. Then I have attached a teardrop crystal at the bottom, hanging from silvery chain so it will catch the light and sparkle.
It looks wonderful hanging in the window, catching the sun.
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached to the top of the diamond.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The last photo shows a rainbow diamond together with two other colour combinations, also for sale as separate listinsg.
