I often use recycled packaging for posting to reduce my impact on the environment.
I wanted to make a really special card for that extra special occasion.
Three shades of purple make up the flowers, all embroidered in French Knot. Leaves are added together with a couple of ‘fallen’ flowers. I have shaded the flower pot to add to the three dimensional detail.
All embroidery was done onto card, then mounted onto fabric.
This card is ideal to be framed, for that extra special, as a permanent reminder.

A beautiful hand embroidered card for a really special occasion.
French knots in shades of purple are embroidered on card, then mounted onto textured fabric. The purple flowers are broken up by thread ‘leaves’ with the pot shaded by hand.
This card is densely embroidered and is perfect to then be framed as a permanent reminder.
The card is 5” x 7”.
