Scottish Lewisian Gneiss gemstones have a wonderful range of colours within them. They are found in the Hebridean islands and the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. This Scottish gemstone necklace it a unique piece of jewellery which will make a wonderful gift for an anniversary or for a nature lover.
This Scottish gemstone has been set in recycled sterling silver and I have surrounded it with handmade silver leaves. The total width of the pendant is 40 mm which includes the leaves. The oval gemstone measures 18 x 13 mm. The length of the chain can be selected and please contact me if the length you require is not listed.
Did you know that Lewisian Gneiss gemstones are 3000 million years old and are the oldest stone found in Scotland? Imagine wearing a piece of jewellery and knowing that the stone is as old as that, what a thoughtful gift it would make.
