I use texture and shadow to create the effect for these pieces. I like the way the absence of colour draws attention to the light and shade.
This piece is made by hand cutting and shaping flowers from air drying clay, and adfing texture, before arranging them on a wooden panel to create a unique design.

Full description
This original piece was created using air dried clay with each flower individually cut, shaped and textured by hand, before being arranged on a white, wooden panel measuring 20.5cm x 15.5cm x 2cm.
