I like to use light and shade in these pieces. I think that the absence of colour draws attention to the textures, and accentuates the shadows.
This piece was made by hand modelling each component, creating a variety of textures, and mounting them to produce an original design. Each of my pieces is unique and original.

Full description
This piece is made up of small squares of air dry clay, each individually rolled, cut, textured and shaped, before being embedded in a larger slab of clay, and mounted on a canvas board.
The white wooden frame has a perspex front, and measures 20.5cm x 15.5cm x 3.5cm. It can be hung on a wall or displayed freestanding.
