I wanted a coaster that was soft and lightweight, but solid enough to stand my glasswear, vases etc on; they also needed to be big enough for my husbands large mugs.
Not being able to find what I wanted, I decided to make some.
Now my house is full of assorted coulourful coasters and they always go down well as gifts.

Full description
Burgundy and ivory floral coasters. Each coaster is individually hand made with quality cotton fabric and is a generous 12 x12 cm approximately.
They are soft and lightweight but durable, and give great protection for the table. These coasters are non-scratch, do not stick to the bottom of the glass and are easily cleaned by throwing them in the washing machine. The top quilting stops the inner material from moving or twisting when washed.
They always add interest and make a good talking point.
A useful and different little gift that is lightweight so can be added to a card without adding too much extra to the postage.
