Hi and a very warm welcome to our new Folksy shop. We really hope you enjoy looking through our collection of handmade wood crafts. We endeavor to post most items Royal Mail first class unless otherwise stated.
We live in Pembrokeshire where there is a fantastic colony of Puffins and seabirds on Skomer Island. After a recent boat trip to Skomer I thought it would be nice to try handcarving these amazing little seabirds!

Full description
This delightful little Puffin is chainsaw carved from a complete piece of Cedarwood. I have hand painted the puffin in outdoor friendly paints and have added realistic glass eyes!
The Puffin is happy indoors or outside and is best cared for if protected from very inclement weather and strong sunlight.
If displayed indoors it is happier away from direct heat sources as this can cause some mild cracking.
The carving stands 28cm high and the plinth is approx 19cm x 12cm. The Puffin is 17cm tall and 12cm across at it's widest point.
Postage will be Royal Mail Express 48 in a 9 x 9 x 12 inch box.
