Frank Matcham made Theatres with beautiful interiors, but so often he designed a lovely entrance as well. This is true of the Grand Theatre in Blackpool where the public enter through an imposing portico on the corner of Church Street and Matcham Court.
When I photographed it I knew I would one day make a print of it...

Lino print in a single colour printed by hand using a Victorian Screwpress on A2 (approx 42 x 30 cms) paper. Unmounted.
The image is of entrance to the lovely Matcham Theatre.
Safewash inks were used.
Edition of 10 copies. Signed by the artist. Not digital copies.
