My Malverns willowherb embroidery kit is inspired by a walk in the hills one hot summer day when all I could hear was a popping sound. Eventually I realised it was this gorgeous hot pink wildflower releasing its seeds. Common along the canalsides and railway lines of Worcestershire, it's at its best in July

Quick to sew, this embroidery design uses three simple stitches to create a 3D effect and comes with full printed instructions. It's easy to follow if you're new to embroidery but there's enough to keep you interested if you're a pro.
Materials included:
- Printed design on soft linen - green and pink brush strokes on a light grey background
- Perle number 5 embroidery thread in vivid hot pink/hot lilac (DMC) and a lush variegated green that is hand-dyed yarn by Norfolk indie-dyer Sandra Beech. More than enough of both to complete your project.
- 5 inch Elbessee embroidery hoop - made in the UK
- 1 number 22 chenille needle from John James
- Full printed instructions and guide to stitches
