Full description
This pretty decoration is made from a sweet blue-painted bird cage from which I removed the plastic bird and replaced it with two tiny crochet birds on a swinging perch. The birds are crocheted and embroidered in fine cotton and filled with polyester stuffing. They are fixed to a perch made from a length of bamboo skewer which has been wrapped in cotton and suspended from a wire hanger. The cake is decorated on the outside with tiny crochet flowers and leaves and it hangs from a grey/green narrow satin ribbon.
The cage measures approximately 12.5 cm in height and the base is 7cm in diameter.
