The design is called "Withywine" and the inspiration for this border & motif design was taken from a range of photographs of the clematis in my garden. Not wanting to call it Clematis, I looked for a local folk name, unfortunately, like many places in the UK, the wild clematis is referred to as Old-Man's-Beard in Cornwall, not a good name for a scarf! But parts of Wiltshire and Somerset call it withywine so I used that name!

Full description
LIMITED EDITION original design silk/viscose devore scarf - a longer length scarf which can be a smart or casual addition to your outfit. This original design was screen printed on to pure white silk/viscose velvet - 82% Viscose 18% Silk - using devoré paste, processed by “burning-out” the design, double-dyed & hand-finished in my Cornish studio. The size of the scarf is 180cm x 32cm (approx. 71" x 12") My scarves are dispatched in purpose made boxes with an after care leaflet and posted “Signed For”
