Full description
This is a one of a kind original textile artwork, sold mounted ready for you to choose your own frame.
It shows an applique yellow rose, cut from yellow silk and embroidered with free machine embroidery, which is where the artist uses the sewing machine needle like a pencil to drawn freehand onto fabric. The same embroidery technique is used to draw a gorgeous bumble bee freehand (NOT a computer programme). The leaves of the rose are cut from green silk and the background is a lovely pale blue cotton.
The textile artwork is sold mounted with a cream mount and is ready for you to get framed in your choice of frame, either an off the peg or a bespoke one.
This embroidery would make a lovely golden wedding anniversary gift or a gift for someone who loves flowers or bees!
With the mount, this golden rose textile artwork measures 30.5cm wide and 40.5cm high and you can buy a standard sized frame to fit this from a multitude of places in a multitude of styles to match your home decor, or if giving as a gift, you know the recipient can chose something that fits their budget.
