Full description
I have cut the blackbird from beautiful iridescent black opaque glass. It reflects pinks and greens in direct light. In contrast I have used a strong vibrant transparent yellow for the beak.
The bird sits on a streaky brown branch in front of a delicately swirled green and clear. The sky is a softly textured pale blue.
A jump ring has been added for his eye and wire for both legs.
A must for any bird lover out there.
This blackbird panel is made with cut glass, copperfoiled, soldered then given a lead edge to make it a substantial panel.
Hooks have been soldered on the top for ease of hanging in your window.
