Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A dramatically coloured parrot, mainly bright blue but with some red, yellow and green feathers. I've added little curly feathers to the top of the parrot's head to be quirky and also to provide a very safe and secure hanging spot.
I've seen lots of gorgeous Lorikeets when I visited Australia and just loved them. Such a vibrant flash as they fly past.
The parrot is 16cm x 11cm and hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached to the top of the dragonfly.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. I also have a red version which you can find a a separate listing.
